This exceptional 1941 Ford Custom Pickup has benefitted from a comprehensive restoration and professionally executed custom build. This is a fantastic driving truck. It accelerates, stops and handles like a modern truck and has a very sure-footed feel. Exterior paint and chrome look great and the interior is soft and comfortable.
The restoration/build was completed in 2014 and included the following:
All steel body, fenders and running boards with stainless steel strips on the step surface.
Burgundy and cream two tone PPG paint.
New steel bed with stainless steel hardware, oak floor, new steel tailgate, new bumpers and bumper brackets, new grille and hood hinges.
S-10 frame lengthened to properly fit the trucks wheelbase. All new suspension and front end parts including 2″ drop spindles and new de-arched rear springs.
All new brakes, wheels and tires.
Professionally rebuilt Vortec 350ci Chevrolet engine with performance camshaft, Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor and a new HEI distributor.
New starter, alternator battery and American Wiring complete harness.
New stainless steel fuel tank with hidden filler.
Professionally rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission with new torque converter.
Custom made aluminum radiator with aluminum overflow tank and electric fan.
Custom made driveshaft with new yokes, u joints, fully balanced and connected to a 9″ ford rear end with 273 gearing.
Amish made custom interior with tilt steering column, power steering, power brakes, Alpine remote controlled stereo, Alpine speakers, all new glass, window and door cranks.
New Port Engineering Windshield wiper assembly.
Custom made exhaust with Flow Master mufflers and stainless steel hardware.
LED tail lights, parking, running lights and custom Ford script brake light.
