This wonderful 1965 Maserati 3500 GTi is powered by its original fuel-injected 3.5-liter twin-cam inline-six paired with a ZF five-speed manual transmission. Finished in Grigio Ferro Metallic over Cognac upholstery, the car was refinished as part of a comprehensive refurbishment executed between 2009 and 2011.
The car presents with the optional Borani wire wheels displaying the factory 4 wheel disc brakes. Other noteworthy features include Jaeger instrumentation, ZF 5 speed manual transmission and recently serviced Lucas fuel injection.
This iconic 2+2 coupe was repainted by the experts at Autometric and fitted with supple Cognac Italian leather interior surfaces, while exterior brightwork was carefully polished and restored. Mechanical work during the refurbishment included an engine rebuild, brake service, and a full tune-up, along with the addition of an upgraded Lucas mechanical fuel pump.
This is a well-sorted and elegantly presented example of Maserati’s flagship grand tourer and will soon be available for auction on BringATrailer.com
